When?
During morning worship at Christ Church, except for the 3rd Sunday which is Family Worship
Creche is available every Sunday during morning worship (except for Family Service and special children’s events) and is open to all babies, toddlers and young children whose parents are attending the morning service.
There are approximately 20 ladies on the crèche rota and we provide a safe and creative environment for the tinies, with lots of toys on offer. We are always looking for new volunteers who enjoy working with children so please get in touch if you would like to help. All volunteers must complete Safeguarding Trust training.

If you’re looking after a 0-4 year old for the morning, you’re welcome to come along to our Toddler Group in Christ Church hall.
It’s a great chance to socialise with other mums and carers from all around the area and introduce your little one to lots of other children. The morning is structured and includes a healthy snack for the children and an excellent morning tea break for you. We arrange a special activity for each session e.g. Christmas craft, play dough, a visit from real chicks in the springtime and a photo session, to name but a few. Pram Service in church and Teddy bears picnic are other highlights of the toddler year!

Children’s Church runs every Sunday during morning worship (except for Family Service and special children’s events) and offers activities such as stories, songs, quizzes and crafts for primary-school aged children.
The children leave the service just before the sermon and go to the hall. They are collected by their parents at the end of church except on Communion Sundays when they return early to participate in Family Communion. We love to provide fun, Bible based activities for children in a relaxed atmosphere. We run throughout the summer months and in July we’re treated to a visit from the CSSM team.

When?
Anchor Boys (5-8 yrs): Tuesday evenings at 6.00 pm, Juniors (9-11 yrs): Friday evenings at 7.00 pm
Anchor Boys offers many that first chance to work together, to co-operate in a joint activity, to work (or play) as a team. The Junior Section offers a lot of support and encouragement and the programme is a full and varied one.
Anchor Boys are the youngest group in the Boys’ Brigade. They get to play games, sing songs, make craft, run around, paint and draw, listen to Bible stories and go on special outings. They have their own uniform of grey trousers and a bright red jumper. The boys in the Junior Section have plenty of variety. There are lots of physical activities, music, crafts, games and competitions usually undertaken in groups.

When?
Sunday morning from 10.15 am -11.15 am in Christ Church halls
Our Sunday School is open to all children in the community from ages 4-13 yrs.
We have a dedicated group of teachers and about 60 children attending for singing, craft, games and class time. All the activities reinforce the teaching point for the week and the theme for the term.
